We had a good week of training. Monday thru Thursday we did some Max Efforts to test people's strength abilities with 1 Rep Max lifts. Many members achieved their PR (personal records) this week. Congrats.
Saturday we had a Bring a Friend workout. Great to see new people join in and participate. Some came in a with a bit of prior knowledge of the training and now had a chance to participate. Good time following and thanks to people that brought in dishes to pass.
We have good week of training coming up. It will be a short week due to the holiday and we will have classes Thursday and Friday but limited times. Make sure to check out the calendar for holiday class schedule.

We occasionally have conversations about footwear and what is the most effective. There are many different types of shoes for the various training environments. We have Oly shoes, running shoes and low-profile shoes walking in the gym. We even have no shoe people treading on the mats. Here is a great write up regarding footwear. Take from it what you will.
