The 2013 Crossfit Games is a three stage process. The process is comprised of the Open, Regionals and finally the Games in California. Many have seen last seasons competition on ESPN. The season kicks off with the Open on Wednesday March 6th. This will be the first of 5 weekly workouts that will allow athletes to compete and qualify for the Regionals. Some of the best athletes in the world will be participating along with the rest of us that are "not the best" athletes. Crossfit Brighton will be participating in the Open. We will be doing the Open WODs each week on Saturdays during our WOD Classes. Why would I join? I'm not going to qualify for Regionals? You will be working out regardless so why not sign up. Crossfit has made many of the WODs doable for the masses so many can participate. Your performance will be judged. Performing up to a set of standards will be add to the intensity of the workout and raise the level of your performance.
