Last week was a great week of training. We started out by challenging everyone's DL 1RM. Congrats to all the PRs (Andy #465)! Mid week people experience "The Jacket of Pain". We all heard about it for the rest of the week. Finished with "Elizabeth" and some work on Oly lifts. Mix in a bunch of solid WODs with great efforts and we have our last week.

Get ready for another solid week of training. Be prepared to improve your weaknesses and challenge your strengths!

Monday's WOD included BB DL. We did mostly two arm conventional Deadlifts but did work around an injury. Russian KB swings were apart of the met con following. Good day of training.

Nice job by all participants this Saturday during our Bring A Friend WOD Class. Our members got a chance to have someone come in, sample the training and have some fun. We will be scheduling more weekend special WODs. We will keep you posted.

The Brighton Volleyball team has completed their second training session with us. They are working on quickness, agility, strength and conditioning while in a team setting. We will gradually increase the intensity levels of the training sessions to develop their physical and mental strength in preparation for the upcoming season. Keep up the great work!

The Sport of Fitness
Kids play games and have fun so why shouldn't we do the same. Why not use fitness as a sport? Join a team, train together, encourage each other and accomplish goals. What a great idea. The rope is easier to pull if everyone is pulling as hard as they can. Add some excitement to your life by setting a new goal. Turn your fitness into a sport of some sorts. It is easier to increase your output of work if you are motivated. Imagine all the gains in fitness people make while this is going on.
