GOALS & PRIORITIES

Don't confuse your goals with priorities. Using heavy weights (Rx) in the WODs should not be your first priority. Being the first one to write your name and time on the whiteboard shouldn't be either. These are great goals to set for yourself but don't lose sight of the bigger picture.

You are challenged everyday you come in the gym. Your first priority should be to make sure you accept the challenge. Use appropriate weights, scale and modify correctly so you get pushed.

Utilizing relatively heavy weights (this may change according to the individual) when called for in the WODs is essential in Crossfit's style of training.

Push yourself further every single day. This should be your priority when walking in the gym. Along with this and just as important is to not be stupid.
Soreness and bruises are a part of the training but injuries shouldn't be. Proper form and full range of motion are essential and required.

A couple general guidelines to follow at CFB.

-If you are not Rx and finish first then you didn't challenge yourself with the right equipment.
-If you are unsure about your form then scale properly until form improves.
