Olympic Lifting Class: Saturdays 9:30 am We have added O-Lift Class to our class schedule. Olympic lifts are unparalleled in the development of strength, power, speed, balance and coordination. It requires all muscles in the body to fire simultaneously in order to properly perform the lifts. Core muscle stabilizers are a necessity when weight is lifted overhead. This allows for total muscle recruitment when properly done. Developing greater athletic ability: Athletes depend on speed, power, balance and agility to excel in their respective sport. Whether you or your athlete perform on the field, court, mats or ice, becoming proficient at the Clean & Jerk and Snatch will help you improve your athletic abilities. Generating power from hips and legs while maintaining a tight mid-line (core) is a necessity in most sports and is a requirement for Olympic lifts.
